About Church Schools
The Church of England has a long and proud history of educating children and young people. Currently, around one million children are taught in Church of England schools across the country and nearly one-fifth of all primary school children in England attend a Church of England school. There are eight Church of England primary schools in the Deanery and three further schools which have special links with Westminster Abbey or St Margaret's Church. Across London, there are around 150 Church of England schools and they are supported by the London Diocesan Board for Schools. Links:
